What actually drives the price

Tier (budget-export vs premium-Western). The single biggest swing. A budget-export spiral former and a premium European one can differ several-fold for nominally the same diameter range — the difference is build quality, tolerances, lead time and the depth of support behind it.

Automation level. On lines especially, each added station — levelling, notching, punching, seam closing, corner insertion — adds cost. Buy the automation your duct mix justifies, not the highest available.

Tooling, dies and ancillaries. Decoiler, run-out table, extra dies, controlled-corrugation units and similar are real line items that the headline machine price often excludes.
